    Comprised of some of the best young jazz players in Portland, the Chris Mosley Quartet has a sound that is rich with improvisation and interaction, sometimes open and surreal, other times fiery and pocketed.  Featuring the original compositions and guitar prowess of the leader, the virtuosic improvisations of saxophonist Tim Willcox, and the chameleonic rhythm section work of bassist Bill Athens and drummer Randy Rollofson, this is a band worth experiencing and a must-see for any fan of contemoporary improvisation.
